A MOMENT IN THE SUN tells the story of Ugur Ortabasi, a Turkish nuclear physicist in Australia who, in the pioneering days of solar-vehicle racing, built an improbable four-seat solar-powered tandem bicycle and entered it against the odds. Why This Film Matters: Long before clean energy was mainstream, a handful of dreamers were racing the sun across a continent. This is a warm underdog story about ingenuity, stubbornness and the people who build the future in their garages before the rest of the world catches up.
