Balkans Express rides along with a group of friends who have set their minds on the skies, speed-flying through the mountains of the Balkans in pursuit of pure, unfiltered flight. It is an inside view of their world — the dreaming, the sweat and the behind-the-scenes graft it takes to reach these remote places — and of the shared joy of leaving the Earth, if only for a few minutes, in moments of weightless bliss.

Why This Film Matters: Beneath the aerial spectacle, Balkans Express is a film about following a dream with the people you love. It frames an extreme air sport not as a chase for adrenaline but as an adventure of friendship and devotion — a reminder that the hard work behind a passion is what gives the payoff its meaning.
