Artist, father, and climber Jeremy Collins had planned to travel to the four corners of the earth with his friend and mentor Johnny Kopp, west to Yosemite, east to China, north to the Vampire Spires, and south to Venezuela. When Johnny's life was taken in an avalanche, Jeremy and his friends resolve to finish the journey, carrying Johnny's ashes to scatter from the summits. Drawn follows that path from death to life, rendered through Collins's own artwork.

Why This Film Matters: Grief and creativity braid together here into something rare, an adventure film that is also a meditation on loss, friendship, and meaning. Drawn shows how we metabolize sorrow by moving through the world our lost ones loved.
