Love, music and Sámi identity drive this portrait of Ella Marie Hætte Isaksen, a young singer and activist from northern Norway who turns her voice into resistance. As a mining project threatens Sámi land and heritage, Ella steps from the stage to the front line of environmental and Indigenous-rights activism, fighting for a homeland and a culture under pressure.

Why This Film Matters: It puts an Indigenous woman's leadership at the centre of the climate fight, showing how art, identity and activism can be one and the same. An inspiring, contemporary story of Sámi self-determination that connects culture to the land it comes from.
