In ultrarunning there are hares chasing course records and turtles simply trying to beat the cut-off before dark, and out on the trail the two need each other. Turtles & Hares spends a season inside this ragtag community, following runners of wildly different speeds, ages and backgrounds as they push through distances that break most people, held up by the people around them.
