Rising from the plains of northern Mozambique, Mount Namuli is a sky-island of rainforest and sheer granite that few outsiders have ever reached. Climber Majka Burhardt leads a team of scientists and local guides up its walls to document species found nowhere else on Earth, and to ask how this fragile world, and the communities farming its slopes, can have a future together.

Why This Film Matters: It fuses first-ascent adventure with real conservation science, framing discovery not as conquest but as a shared effort between foreign climbers, researchers and Mozambican partners, a vivid case for protecting the planet's last unexplored corners before they vanish.
